Valtteri Bottas produced Alfa Romeo F1® Team ORLEN’s best result since 2019 at the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DELL’EMILIA-ROMAGNA 2022. The flying Finn seemed determined to make a statement in Italy and started the race in P7 behind only the McLarens, Ferrari and Red Bulls. Bottas started the race well, taking P6 off Magnussen in the Haas and producing rapid times as the race went on. He closed down Mercedes’ George Russell closing the gap down to just 0.6 seconds at the chequered flag. It is the team’s best result since the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix.
