First one-two finish since 2016

Oracle Red Bull Racing claimed their first one-two finish since 2016 at the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DELL'EMILIA-ROMAGNA 2022. A strong showing in the sprint race meant that Verstappen and Perez started the main race first and third respectively. Both drivers started fantastically with Verstappen taking the lead and Perez just behind after overtaking Leclerc. That was the way it would stay with Verstappen building up a commanding lead and Perez winning his battle with Leclerc and holding off Lando Norris. It is Oracle Red Bull Racing’s first one-two finish since Malaysia 2016 when Verstappen finished second to Daniel Ricciardo.
