Lucas Giolito became the first Chicago White Sox pitcher since Chris Sale in 2016 to throw a complete game shutout on 107 pitches or fewer. Giolito dominated a potent Houston Astros lineup, firing 82 strikes, scattering four hits and striking out nine. The incredible effort gave the White Sox a 4-0 win.
