Gerrit Cole

Gerrit Cole continued his early season dominance in an 8-0 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Cole struck out 16 and only gave up one hit across nine innings in his first career shutout. He now has 77 strikeouts in his first seven starts with the Astros, which is a record for a pitcher in their first seven starts with a new team.
