Freddy Peralta dazzled in a 13-strikeout MLB debut in front of his family on Mother's Day. Peralta became the first pitcher since Matt Harvey in 2012 to log double-digit strikeouts in his first MLB start, and it was the most since Stephen Strasburg had 14 in 2010. His 13 strikeouts were stretched across 5 2/3 scoreless innings pitched against the Colorado Rockies in a 7-3 win.
