Jordan Hicks stunned his manager, teammates, and the fans, as the 21-year-old hit 105 mph twice with his fastball against the Phillies. The five pitches Hicks threw to Odubel Herrera in a ninth inning at-bat were the five fastest pitches of the 2018 season thrown by any pitcher so far. Since pitch tracking began in 2008, only Aroldis Chapman and Hicks have hit 105 mph.
