Juan Soto

On May 15, the Washington Nationals hosted the Yankees in a game that was tied, 3-3, when it was suspended due to rain in the middle of the sixth inning. Five days later, Juan Soto debuted for Washington. Yesterday, they resumed the suspended game, and in the bottom of the sixth, Soto pinch-hit for Matt Adams and hit a two-run home run in the 5-3 victory. The game will count as occurring on May 15. Soto's debut will remain May 20, meaning the pinch hit HR was technically recorded prior to his MLB debut.
