After Daniel Poncedeleon threw seven no-hit innings a day prior, Austin Gomber followed with 6 1/3 more of his own. Gomber and Poncedeleon became the first pair of rookie teammates to carry consecutive no-hitters into the seventh since the 1964 Kansas City Athletics.
