Thomas Pannone

Thomas Pannone dazzled in the first start of his MLB Career, carrying a no-hitter into the top of the seventh inning. Pannone went on to pick up his first career win, tossing seven scoreless frames in a 6-0 win over the Orioles. The 24-year-old made his MLB debut earlier in the month with three appearances out of the bullpen. Pannone is the fifth player in MLB history to allow one hit or fewer and two walks or fewer in seven or more shutout innings in his first Big League start.
