Trailing, 4-1, in the bottom of the eighth inning, the Seattle Mariners got a three-run home run from Dan Vogelbach to tie the game. The Mariners fell behind the Oakland Athletics once again in the top of the 10th inning before mounting another comeback. Vogelbach led off the inning with a walk, and Dee Gordon subbed in as a pinch runner and scored on a double off the bat of Domingo Santana. Omar Narvaez then supplied the walk-off single to give the Mariners a shocking, come-from-behind win.
