165 HRs SETS MLB RECORD FOR MOST HRS PRIOR TO MLB ALL-STAR GAME

Jorge Polanco and rookie Luis Arraez went deep in a six-run second. Those homers, plus long balls by Jonathan Schoop and Mitch Garver, gave the Twins a MLB record of 165 home runs before the MLB All-Star break. This record surpassed the 161 hit by the New York Yankees in 2018.
