Marcus Semien

Marcus Semien became the second shortstop in franchise history to compile a seven RBI in a game when he led the 19-4 drubbing of the Kansas City Royals. By the third inning, the athletic shortstop became the first Oakland Athletics leadoff hitter since Terrence Long in 2000 to reach six RBI after Semien cleared the bases with a triple in the second inning and then launched a three-run home run in the third frame.
