Alex Bregman hit a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 9th inning to lift the Astros over the Mariners, 5-4. The Astros trailed 4-3 in the 9th before Bregman's clutch hit plated Jose Altuve from second base to give Houston the lead for good. The Mariners had tied the game in the 8th on a two-run homer by Mitch Haniger, but Houston's bullpen held firm in the late innings to secure the victory.
