ICHIRO ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT AT END OF GAME

Ichiro Suzuki announced his retirement at the end of the second game of the Opening Day series in Japan. The former AL MVP Award winner ends his career as a 10-time MLB All-Star, 10-time fielding award winner and two-time batting champion with a career average of .311 and 509 stolen bases.
