When the Twins traded for Kenta this past offseason, they were hoping to get a start like they did in Tuesday night's game from the 32-year-old. Maeda kept Brewers hitters in check through eight no-hit innings, striking out 12, including eight consecutive with one out in the top of the third to the end of the top of the fifth, a new Twins team record. Brewers third baseman Eric Sogard lined to center to lead off the ninth, breaking up Kenta's no-hit bid.
