Lewis Hamilton wins his 7th FIA Formula 1® Drivers' Championship World Title to equal Michael Schumacher’s record. A stunning drive in wet conditions at the Turkish Grand Prix gave Hamilton his 10th victory of the season, which secured enough points to claim the 2020 FIA Formula 1 Drivers' Championship World Title. Hamilton had started the race in sixth, risen to third midway through the first lap and then dropped back to sixth by the end of Lap 1. A decision to change tyres paid off and the drive from there was mesmeric from Hamilton, who overcame the unpredictable conditions to win by +31.6 seconds. A champions performance and an historic achievement.
