Rookie Ryan Zimmerman put the Washington Nationals on his back in a 6-4 win over the division-rival Phillies. The third baseman set a career high with five RBI, accounting for almost all of the Washington Nationals runs. Zimmerman continued to stake his claim as the most valuable rookie as this performance pushed his home run total to 17 to accompany 83 RBI.
