For the second time in as many nights, Cesar put the Indians on the board with their first at-bat of the game. Facing Minnesota's Kenta Maeda on Monday evening, the second baseman launched the starter's offering over the right field wall, giving Cleveland the early 1-0 lead. This was the first time in Cleveland's history that a lead-off hitter has hit a home run in back-to-back games.
