Zack Wheeler

Zack capped off a big week for the Wheeler family on Saturday, earning his first win for the Phillies with seven strong innings pitched against the Marlins. Earlier in the week, his wife gave birth to their first child, a son named Wesley. Back on the mound, the righthander scattered five hits across seven frames, allowing just one run while striking out four. His effort was backed by four Phillies home runs – courtesy of Didi Gregorius, J.T. Realmuto and two by DH Phil Gosselin.
