First Formula 1 Win

Sergio Perez wins his first Formula 1 Grand Prix in Bahrain. Perez put in a sensational drive to claim his first race win on his 190th start. Forced to pit on lap 1 after being caught up in a crash on turn 4, the Mexican found himself in last place. With Perez driving immaculately, the team took advantage of disastrous stop-strategies from the leaders to move up through the field to P1. A momentous drive, Perez becomes the first Mexican to win a race since 1970. He also claims his and Racing Point’s first ever Grand Prix victory.
