Players around Baseball honored the legend Jackie Robinson by wearing the number “42” on August 28, since the League was unable to carry out the tradition on April 15. On this date 75 years ago, Dodgers president Branch Rickey informed Robinson he would be the face of integration in Baseball. For Andrew McCutchen, among other MLB players, Robinson is an inspiration. “He always stood for what he believed in. It’s come full circle. Ultimately, I feel like that’s what we’re doing right now.”
