First podium finish

After returning to Formula 1 in 2020, an emotional Esteban Ocon claimed his first ever podium finish with a hard-fought drive in Bahrain. In a rollercoaster of a race, Ocon was placed in 9th at the halfway point. A steady approach paid off and as the front runners pitted, the Renault strategy carried Ocon through. The driver reciprocated with fantastic race management to finish in second place.
