OCTOBER 27, 1991 — Jack Morris redefined the meaning of a true ace on the way to the 1991 World Series title for the Twins. Morris took the ball in Games 1 and 4, but his most heroic effort came in the concluding matchup of the series. Morris fired 10 innings of shutout Baseball to lead the Twins to a narrow, 1-0, World Series clinching victory.
