FOUR RAYS™ PITCHERS COMBINE ON 19-K EFFORT

Led by fifth-year pitcher Tyler Glasnow, the Rays pitching staff put on a clinic in Monday's game vs. the Braves, setting a new team-record with 19 strikeouts. Glasnow and relievers Diego Castillo, Jalen Beeks and Jose Alvarado were tough on some of Atlanta's best hitters – striking out Ronald Acuna Jr. and Marcell Ozuna three times a piece. It was Alvarado's whiff of Ender Inciarte in the ninth inning that set the new record for the team.
