Secure dramtic 3rd place in the Constructor's

With a strong final performance in Abu Dhabi, McLaren make a late claim for 3rd place in the Constructors' World Championship. Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz shared a fantastic evening for McLaren, finishing in P5 and P6 respectively. With Racing Point sitting in 3rd before the race, Sergio Perez was moving up the field before a transmission issue forced him to retire which left the door open for a late and dramatic challenge from the McLaren drivers. The result in the season finale proved enough to leap-frog Racing Point and seal 3rd place for McLaren in the 2020 constructor standings.
