Looking to end his personal three-game skid, Gerrit was outstanding on Friday night starting the first Game of the doubleheader against the Orioles. The Yankees ace allowed just two hits while striking out nine and walking one. Improving his record to 5-3, the victory was Cole’s second complete game of the season, with the first one coming in his first start of the season back on July 23.
