Making your MLB debut is nerve-wracking enough but debuting against a three-time Cy Young award winner would be a nightmare for most. Nate is not like most prospects however, measured by skill or grit. The fireballing 23-year-old matched the Nationals' Max Scherzer in five scoreless frames, while striking out five and allowing just two hits. Pearson said "I know my stuff plays, and that's all I'm focused on."
