MAY 2, 1909 — In an incredible display of speed and baserunning prowess, Wagner proved once again why he has been dubbed “The Flying Dutchman”. In the first inning of game two of Pittsburgh’s doubleheader with the Cubs, Honus wreaked havoc on the base paths – stealing second, third and home as the Pirates prevailed, 6-0.
