DJ LeMahieu then stepped up to the plate with runners on first and second base and a chance to give the Yankees the lead for the third time in the game. The regular season batting champion, who has a habit of coming through for his Club, succeeded. LeMahieu punched an RBI single through the middle of the infield to give the Yankees a 10-9 advantage, a lead that would hold up and send the team to an ALDS matchup with the Rays.
