The Miami Marlins beat the Cubs, 2-0, to cap a sweep of the NL Wild Card Series and advance to the NLDS. The win was fueled by a gem by rookie pitcher Sixto Sanchez, and a clutch, momentum shifting home run off the bat of Garrett Cooper. The franchise has still never lost a Postseason series, extending their perfect streak to seven series won in seven chances dating back to 1997.
