Monday night's 10-9 win over Oakland was a little sweeter for Anthony as he also reached a professional milestone with his 1,000th career hit. Rendon, who has had at least 150 hits in five out of the last six seasons, connected for a line-drive single in the bottom of the sixth inning, the second of his two hits on the evening. Hit number 999 was a two-run home run in the bottom of the first, his second longball in an Angels uniform.
