Devin Williams was named the 2020 NL Rookie of the Year Award winner after an extraordinary campaign in which the rookie reliever allowed just eight hits in 27 innings pitched. The right-hander retired 53 batters on strikes, produced a 17.7 strikeout-per-nine-innings ratio, and walked merely nine hitters. The outstanding peripherals led Williams to a minuscule 0.33 ERA and 0.63 WHIP in his uniquely dominant rookie season.
