Eric Hosmer

Eric Hosmer became the first Padres player in history to start the season with back-to-back games of at least three hits. The first baseman also set a Padres record with 13 total bases in the first two games of the season after slugging home runs in each of those contests. The veteran has been a boon to the young Padres team, helping them get off to a scorching, 2-0 start to the 2021 campaign.
