OCTOBER 15, 1970 — The Baltimore Orioles only dropped one game to the Cincinnati Reds in the 1970 World Series en route to their second championship title and it was Brooks Robinson who led the way. The future Hall of Famer paced Baltimore throughout the series with a staggering .429 batting average, .810 slugging percentage and a 1.238 OPS over 21 at-bats. With this jaw-dropping effort, the Little Rock, Arkansas, native took home World Series MVP honors.
