Cedric Mullins

The Baltimore Orioles 11-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox was heavily driven by Cedric Mullins' historic day at the plate. Mullins' 5-for-5 effort, along with a walk, has put him in extremely rare company. Cedric's initial four hits all came in the first four innings, becoming the first Baltimore Orioles player to do so. Also, Mullins is now the first player in franchise history to record five hits, three doubles and a walk in a single game, and to have nine hits in total through the first three games of the season.
