In his Major League debut, Taylor Walls roped a double off the top of the right-field wall for his first career hit. The Tampa Bay Rays number seven overall prospect would finish the game 2-for-4 with a run scored in the 3-1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. Walls was selected by the Rays in the third round of the 2017 MLB Draft out of Florida State University. The 24-year-old rookie has a chance to become a new staple in Tampa Bay's middle infield, following the Club's trade of Willy Adames.
