Joe West served in his 5,376th game in Tuesday night's game between the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals for the most regular-season games umpired in MLB history. The record was previously held by Bill Klem for 80 years until "Cowboy Joe" rose to the top. "It was tough to hold back a tear or two, but Tom Hanks said there's no crying in Baseball, so you can't do it," West said. Joe began his career as an MLB umpire in 1976 as a 23-year old and has been serving ever since for 45 strong years.
