Zack Wheeler hurled his third straight gem of 10 or more strikeouts, fanning a career-high 14 batters over the course of his seven innings of work. The 31-year-old's 14 punchouts mark the most by a Phillies starter since Vince Velasquez fanned 16 batters in 2016. Wheeler is also now the first Phillies pitcher to strike out 10-plus batters in three straight games since Curt Schilling in 1998.
