Anthony DeSclafani twirled his second complete-game shutout of the 2021 season in Friday night's showdown between the San Francisco Giants and the Washington Nationals. The Freehold, New Jersey native scattered just two hits over the course of his gem with one walk and eight strikeouts. DeSclafani is the first Giants pitcher since Madison Bumgarner in 2015 to hurl two or more complete-game shutouts with under three hits allowed in each start.
