Ryan Mountcastle had his first career three-home-run game in the AL East Division showdown between the Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays. His monster day commenced in the bottom of the second inning with a towering blast to dead center to get the Orioles on the board. Mountcastle followed up in the bottom of the fourth inning with a frozen rope that just got over the left-field wall for homer number two. The 24-year-old slugger's final shot came in the bottom of the sixth inning and was sent well into the left-field seats. With this effort, Mountcastle joined Nick Markakis as the only Baltimore rookies to hit three homers in a single game.
