Home Run Surge Fuels 10th Straight Victory

The Houston Astros recorded their 10th straight win after their 13-0 onslaught of the Baltimore Orioles. Houston's offense led the charge as four Astros players left the yard. The power surge began with Jose Altuve's two-run blast in the top of the fourth inning, followed by a solo shot from Yordan Alvarez and a three-run homer from Abraham Toro in the top of the seventh inning. Lastly, Chas McCormick joined the party with a solo shot in the top of the eighth inning. José Urquidy matched his offense on the bump as he scattered three hits over seven scoreless innings and fanned six batters.
