Kyle Schwarber - 2021 Topps Now #425
1 / 2

Kyle Schwarber continues to be one of the hottest hitters in MLB as the lefty slugger clubbed another two home runs in the 8-4 victory over the New York Mets. Schwarber's first longball led off the bottom of the first inning off an inside fastball from Jerad Eickhoff and was sent 439 feet into the right-field upper deck, per Statcast. The Middletown, Ohio, product would strike again in the bottom of the fifth inning with another 400-foot, solo jack to right-center field. Schwarber's 11 home runs in his last nine games ties the MLB record for most longballs in any nine-game span, previously set by Frank Howard in 1968.
