Tyler Stephenson's first career walk-off hit came on September 23, 2021, when he lined a 1-1 pitch into shallow right field to score pinch-runner Alex Blandino and lift the Reds to a 3-2 victory over the Cubs at Great American Ball Park. The two-out RBI single snapped a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the ninth inning and gave Cincinnati the win in front of a raucous home crowd.
