In the Subway Series finale, Chad Green hurled a perfect three innings to close out the 4-2 triumph over the New York Mets and earn the win. Green’s final inning tossed was immaculate as he fired nine pitches and recorded three strikeouts to slam the door. With the outstanding effort, Chad is now the first pitcher in since 1900 to pitch three perfect innings, fan six batters and twirl an immaculate inning in the same contest.
