Salvador Pérez hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning to lead the Royals to a 6-2 victory over the Tigers. Pérez drove in both runs on a 420-foot blast to left field, giving him 12 home runs on the season. Kansas City improved to 10-8 with the win.
