Jeff McNeil's 29th birthday is certainly one he will never forget. The left-handed hitter absolutely crushed a ball into the right-field upper deck, sending the first New York Mets crowd of 2021 into pandemonium. McNeil's homer came in the bottom of the ninth inning, which tied the game, 2-2. Following his enthusiastic bat flip, the New York Mets would go on to win their home opener, 3-2, by way of a walk-off HBP.
