At age 22 years and 119 days old, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. became the youngest player to be named the MLB All-Star Game MVP since the inauguration of the contest in 1962. Prior to Tuesday night, Ken Griffey Jr. was the youngest at 22 years and 236 days old when he took home the MVP of the 1992 MLB All-Star Game. Guerrero Jr. led all AL batters with two RBI and also launched a 468-foot solo homer in the top of the third inning.
