After being selected in the seventh round by the Boston Red Sox in the 2018 MLB Draft, Jarren Duran made his highly anticipated MLB debut in the Saturday night matchup against the New York Yankees. The 24-year-old prospect smoked a single to center field, off Gerrit Cole, in his first big-league at bat off the first pitch he saw. Duran's elite speed was also put on display as he reached home safely from second base on a Christian Arroyo base hit for Boston's only run of the night.
