Rafael Devers connected for career home runs number 99 and 100 to lead the way for the Boston Red Sox in their 6-2 victory over the New York Yankees at Fenway Park. The 24-year-old MLB All-Star would go 2-for-4 and with five RBI to provide nearly all the offense of Boston. Devers’ first homer was a two-run shot and he sent it 412 feet with an exit velocity of 108.9 mph to straight-away center-field, per Statcast. Rafael’s second deep-fly of the night was a three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning to ice the contest.
