It did not take long for the Chicago White Sox 24-year-old slugger, Eloy Jiménez, to make a major impact coming off of the Injured List. In just his second game back in the lineup, Jiménez went 2-for-4 at the plate, which included a clutch go-ahead, three-run homer in the top of the eighth inning. Eloy’s crucial longball was sent to left-center field with an exit velocity of 109.3 mph and a distance traveled of 459 feet, per Statcast. The White Sox would go on to win, 5-3, over the Kansas City Royals.
